Baja

Baja wasn’t just another shoot; it was a milestone for us our first fully Saudi production. From casting and costumes to choreography and crew, every element was led by Saudi talent. The project combined local authenticity with bold, high-energy action, culminating in a cinematic commercial that celebrated Saudi skill, creativity, and ambition in every frame.

Challenges
This project pushed us outside our comfort zone in the best way possible. It was our first time tackling a full stunt wire setup a highly technical challenge requiring precision, planning, and safety without losing the energy of the action. Coordinating an all-Saudi cast and crew while ensuring the production stayed on schedule added layers of complexity. Our goal was to deliver an ad that felt authentically local yet cinematic and premium and to do it while pioneering new stunt work for our team.

Production
Production on Baja was defined by collaboration, skill, and energy. The Saudi crew brought unmatched authenticity to the storytelling, while the stunt team delivered dynamic, high-impact sequences with complete professionalism. We planned each shot meticulously to showcase the action safely and stylishly, capturing everything from intricate stunt wire work to bold character moments. Despite the technical demands, the set was filled with excitement and teamwork, resulting in a campaign that felt both thrilling and deeply Saudi.

Equipment
We used a Trinity rig paired with the Mini LF to achieve the cinematic, high-impact visuals Baja demanded. The Trinity system was critical for executing smooth, complex moves that followed the stunt work from dynamic angles, delivering fluidity and energy without sacrificing stability. The Mini LF’s large-format sensor gave us ARRI’s signature color fidelity and depth, essential for natural skin tones and rich textures that honored the all-Saudi cast and crew. Together, this setup let us move boldly and confidently, ensuring every frame looked polished, cinematic, and worthy of our first fully Saudi production.
